Chance, could you tell me a little about your production -- such as the equipment you used, funding and how you found the crew, etc. Thanks.

The film was shot on Beta SP 4:3 , and for the train pick ups we used a Cannon Xl1. Sound was done with the beta using a Seinheiser Mike connected to one of the channels on the Camera and sound form the camrea mike was recorded on the other. The beta kit we had was basically what your news crews go out with.

Funding Came out of my own pocket, sod rodriguez and his medical tests, hes a muppet, do an IT course become an IT contractor and you'll earn twice as much plus you wont have to have weird things put into orrifices of your body.

Crew And Cast, came mainly from www.shootingpeople.org, Word of mouth from other people and there was a crew shout on this board but that was pants.

Youve walked the walk and if you were in my area i would be proud to call you a friend!

You certainly pushed that crew and i am sitting here now wishing i could see some of your rushes so so much. I have a pretty good visual image of the shots as you descibe them very well.

I really like your attitude regarding the amount of commitment you have put into this project and wish i could have contributed in some sort of way. I can relate to everything you say about all the problems on the shoot. (i have probably bored the arse off you in the past about me shooting everyday in college and believe me i have a full vhs tape of great outtakes and funny stories that have happened.( only today i was out doing a run of the mill news report story and whilst shooting in the centre of glasgow, with a full crew, you get some unusual looks and nosey people. Anyway we are shooting away when BANG a major pile up right behind us . The nosey buggers must have been too busy looking at us!!!! Anyway one car was totalled( rear end ) and one other decided to make a run for it............well long story short...Police , Ambulance..statements taken.blah.blah blah.

Well now im just rambling............but we will speak in the future and i dont have to give you any tips you have exceeded yourself in the start of your filmmaking career

p.s. out of curiosity maybe you could e mail me with a breakdown of your expenses just to see where all the money went

oops chance.......one more small note. I think it would be better if rather than just put sunday 20th you could put the actual date ie 20th august 2000 etc. Its just that with some sites ,some people dont update there sites for years and some people might not realise how up to date your site is!!

If I work like a bastard over the next few weeks, should be all done for Halloween again! and maybe the DEAD BY DAWN festival in Scotland....

Thanks for the comments Marti-c When i get the film through post ill update the site again and put on the dates properly. Also got a nice big venue in Camden Town line up for the premiere come along !
